S. Waziristan: 2 soldiers killed in militants attack

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A bomb explosion on Wednesday killed two Pakistani soldiers and wounded four others in village situated in South Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border, security officials said.
The explosion took place in a village in the South Waziristan tribal region.
A senior security official told AFP that two soldiers were killed and four others were injured when an improvised explosive device planted by terrorists exploded on roadside in a village.
Homemade bombs are a major weapon for militants who attack government forces in Pakistan s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the tribal districts bordering Afghanistan.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for Wednesday s blast.
South Waziristan is one of the seven semi-autonomous tribal areas. 

Iranian forces open fire on Pakistani border, 2 injured

Three vehicles were taken into custody while investigation from the suspects is underway.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Two persons were injured when the Iranian border force opened fire on the Pakistani area near Panjgur on Wednesday.
According to the official sources, Iranian border security force opened fire on a suspected car that entered into Pakistani territory from Iran.
As a result of firing, two persons were injured, however, the Pakistani security forces immediately reached the spot after getting the information about the incident and arrested six suspects.
Three vehicles were taken into custody while investigation from the suspects is underway.

Saudi Arabia grants legal status to 800‚000 Pakistanis

Future of hundreds of thousands Pakistanis was at stake due to change in rules and regulations. 

JEDDAH (Web Desk) Pakistan s envoy to Saudi Arabia has urged Pakistani workers to contact consulate general in Jeddah for achieving legal status.
As many as nearly eight hundred thousand (800‚000) Pakistanis have got legal status in Saudi Arabia.
This was stated by Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan during an interview with Arab News.
He said Saudi Arabia has extended the amnesty deadline for expatriates till third of next month.
He thanked King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Salman for extending the amnesty deadline.
Pakistani envoy also lauded the Saudi Immigration Department for its cooperation and support especially to the Pakistani community in achieving the legal status.
He urged Pakistani workers to contact consulate general in Jeddah for achieving legal status and jobs.
